Overview
Facing outdated equipment, poor envelope performance, and escalating utility costs, Pritchett School District partnered with our team to complete a BEST grant–funded Energy Performance Contract. The project addressed critical infrastructure needs with new HVAC systems, windows and doors, lighting retrofits, and a building automation system, improving comfort, reliability, and long-term operational sustainability.
Solutions
We replaced outdated lighting, HVAC, and envelope systems with modern, energy-efficient technologies. Upgrades included LED lighting retrofits, condensing boilers, RTUs, unit ventilators, cabinet heaters, a BAS, and full window and door replacements. We also supported grant procurement and provided training, commissioning, and performance verification.
Results
The verified savings totaled $5,791, exceeding the guarantee. Lighting improvements delivered higher-quality illumination and reduced energy use. HVAC upgrades enhanced comfort, reduced gas consumption, and maintained condensing boiler efficiency. Envelope improvements improved building tightness and indoor comfort. Overall, the EPC delivered long-term financial, operational, and occupant comfort benefits.
