Overview
Eagle County School District sought to enhance sustainability and reduce energy use as part of its 2016–2020 Bond Program. Our team provided energy efficiency retrofits, lighting design standards, and support for new construction efforts, while securing over $280,000 in utility incentives.
Solutions
We designed and delivered a comprehensive LED lighting retrofit, provided design assistance to establish district-wide lighting standards, and managed all utility interactions including verification and rebate processes.
Results
The project improved lighting performance, reduced maintenance, secured significant utility incentives, and expanded scope using remaining funds. The additional scope included installing heat tape controls, low flow aerators on faucets, weatherization, and electronically communicated motors for walk-in cooler evaporator units. Our services were vital to establish consistent lighting standards to be used for both retrofit and new construction work.
