Built on Safety: Certified, Trained, Compliant

With a highly-awarded and certified program, we’re proud to keep safety at the core of all we do.

Commitment to Excellence in Workplace Safety

Safety is an essential part of all we do at CEG. Our program is built on five pillars that define how we protect our people, partners, and the public:

Compliance

We don’t just follow the rules — we set the bar by meeting and exceeding all legal, regulatory, and contractual safety requirements.

Accountability

Safety is everyone’s responsibility. Leaders, employees, and subcontractors alike own the outcome of every task.

Risk Reduction

We aggressively identify, control, and eliminate risks to the lowest practicable level, long before they can become incidents.

Engagement

We drive continuous improvement by empowering every employee to participate in and strengthen our OH&S Management System.

Safe Workplaces

Every site and project operates in an environment that is clean, safe, and built to protect.

Protecting People, Driving Performance

At CEG, safety starts with people. Every employee receives accredited training from BCSP-certified professionals and OSHA-authorized instructors — including OSHA 10/30, First Aid, CPR, and AED. We reinforce safe practices through daily planning, Stop-Work Authority, and accountability at every level. With 1,000+ inspections annually and a culture of open engagement, the results speak for themselves: industry-leading OSHA recordable rate, zero DART, and industry-best EMR ratings.

A World-Class Safety Management System: ISO 45001

CEG operates under an ISO 45001-certified Occupational Health & Safety Management System — the world’s leading benchmark for workplace safety. Built on the Plan > Do > Check > Act framework, our system ensures every task is planned, executed, and reviewed for continuous improvement. On every project, we develop site-specific safety plans that align with ISO 45001 standards, creating environments where employees, subcontractors, and partners work safely and with accountability.

Our Track Record

At CEG, safety isn’t just a priority; it’s the standard that defines how we work.
