Overview

Arriba-Flagler School District #20 sought to stretch limited capital funds by combining BEST and DOLA grants with an EPC-backed lease-purchase structure. Our team developed a district-wide facility master plan integrating community needs, health/safety priorities, and long-term financial planning. The project includes mechanical upgrades, lighting, accessibility, security enhancements, and major improvements across the entire K-12 campus.

Solutions

We delivered facility master planning, design-build services, and a full EPC across the 75,000 sq ft district campus. Work included HVAC upgrades, mechanical and electrical modernization, lighting retrofits, accessibility, security enhancements, pool and gym improvements, and restroom renovations. Our team also supported the district in securing BEST and DOLA grants and structured EPC financing to maximize available resources.

Results

The project improves indoor air quality, increases energy efficiency, enhances safety and accessibility, and delivers a healthier learning environment for students. The combined funding and EPC structure helped a rural district achieve comprehensive upgrades that would not have been possible using capital funds alone.
