Overview
The Clear Creek Metropolitan Recreation Center faced operational challenges following an uncommissioned expansion. Our team completed an Investment Grade Audit and implemented measures including solar PV, LED lighting upgrades, weatherization, HVAC optimization, and pump efficiency improvements to reduce utility costs, enhance comfort, and improve overall system reliability.
Solutions
We delivered a comprehensive EPC and RCx project, installing a 101.6 kW rooftop solar PV array, retrofitting pool lighting with LED fixtures, sealing envelope leaks, upgrading RTU gas furnaces, correcting economizer and sensor issues, trimming pool pump impellers, and implementing monitoring-based commissioning through SkySpark.
Results
The project exceeded its guaranteed savings, achieving $26,623 in verified annual savings. Results included 337,533 kWh in electrical reductions, improved lighting quality, more reliable HVAC systems, reduced operational issues, increased equipment longevity, and lower long-term utility costs.
