Your Role: 

As an Associate in our Energy Development team, you will be a crucial part of our mission to deliver cutting-edge energy infrastructure solutions. This entry-level position is designed for recent graduates who are eager to learn, passionate about sustainability, and ready to make an impact. You’'ll work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to projects that address some of the most significant challenges facing society today.

You will be responsible for driving innovative energy infrastructure upgrades (e.g., LED lighting, solar photovoltaics, data center power and cooling, MEP, etc.) through project development, implementation, and performance. Success in this position requires a dynamic individual with strong technical abilities and a passion for sustainability and desire to bring solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project coordination, including communication with internal team members and third-party consultants, subcontractors, and utility providers learning the ins and outs of project management.

  • Project engineering, including client site audits to identify and calculate energy conservation measures, upgrade identification, data analysis, cost-saving calculations, and engineered drawing reviews.

  • Business development, including drafting competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) response submissions and sales presentations.

  • Other miscellaneous tasks required to advance project initiatives to completion.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, STEM, environmental studies, or a related field; GPA > 3.5

  • Enthusiasm for sustainability, renewable energy, and energy efficiency.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Docs.

Location:

Our headquarters is in Arlington, VA. Join us in a city, neighboring Washington DC, that embraces innovation and sustainability. We strongly prefer new associates to be within a commutable distance for hybrid work schedules allowing for in-person/in-office mentorship.
