Your Role: 

As an Associate in our Business Development team, you will be a crucial part of our mission to deliver cutting-edge energy infrastructure solutions. This entry-level position is designed for recent graduates who are eager to learn, passionate about sustainability, and ready to make an impact. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to projects that address some of the most significant challenges facing society today.

You will be responsible for conceptualizing and conveying innovative energy infrastructure upgrades (e.g., LED lighting, solar photovoltaics, data center power and cooling, etc.) in written proposals, marketing materials, and indirect outreach to potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposal Crafting: Assist in drafting responses to Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitations, showcasing your creativity in conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate site-specific upgrade recommendations, learning the ins and outs of project management.

  • Innovative Marketing: Contribute to the creation of compelling marketing materials that highlight our sustainability initiatives and resonate with clients.

  • Outreach and Networking: Engage in outreach initiatives to explore new business opportunities, build relationships with potential clients and partners.

  • Content Development: Support the development of website and social media content, amplifying our presence in the digital sphere.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field; GPA > 3.5

  • Enthusiasm for sustainability, renewable energy, and energy efficiency.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Docs.

Location:

Our headquarters is in Arlington, VA. Join us in a city, neighboring Washington DC, that embraces innovation and sustainability. We strongly prefer new associates to be within a commutable distance for hybrid work schedules allowing for in-person/in-office mentorship.
